PHYSICAL ASPECTS: The remarkable quality about katrafay is its high percentage of sesquiterpenes (about 67.5%). Sesquiterpene molecules readily cross the blood/brain barrier. They bring increased amounts of oxygen and healing properties to the central nervous system. The high percentage of sesquiterpenes also makes katrafay a good fragrance fixative. Katrafay essential oil is indicated for mental fatigue, headaches, sciatica and muscle pains. It is traditionally used in Madagascar after childbirth.
CAUTIONS: Katrafay is generally non-toxic and non-sensitizing. It should be diluted well. Avoid use during pregnancy.
